Market-leading unified communications and voice specialist, Sipcom has launched a ‘Bring Your Own Carrier’ service so that clients have the true choice and flexibility when it comes to choosing platforms and carriers.

“Clients want the best carrier for their situation and the best communications platform. Breaking the mold allows for the best of both worlds,” explains CEO of Sipcom, Daniel Allen. Sipcom’s BYOC service has two models. The first model, customers can bring Sipcom their cloud platform and use Sipcom carrier services e.g. they’ve procured a service directly from Microsoft for Teams, Genysys for PureCloud contact centre or Cisco Cloud. And the second model allows a customer to use the Sipcom platform but select their own SIP provider.

“There are very flexible options and potentially can save companies thousands. Customers can even choose to use one provider globally or break up into multiple-markets,” says Daniel. “Not every organisation will choose this route, but those that do will enjoy the highest level of flexibility and control. As business communications become ever more sophisticated, we believe this trend is likely to accelerate,” explains Daniel Allen.
