UK headquartered cloud transformation specialist Sipcom has kicked off its US expansion strategy with the purchase of New York based IP Theory. IP Theory, previously MicroV, is a boutique provider of cloud-based telephony services and has a client base covering New York state with a data centre in Virginia. With a strong foothold in the Aviation sector, this adds a further area of expertise to the Sipcom portfolio.
“Although Sipcom had a client footprint in the US, the purchase of IP Theory immediately increases our on-the-ground managed services support capability, breadth of skillset, expands our agent reach and our data centre coverage adding a site in Virginia to existing sites in Seattle and New York,” explains Daniel Allen, CEO, Sipcom.
“With this deal under our belt, we’ve now made the move into offices on Wall Street, New York and look forward to powering ahead with our business plan for North America expansion.”
